"The Dukes of Hazzard" star John Schneider and TV personality Dee Dee Sorvino have seized another chance at love after being widowed in recent years.
Schneider, 64, announced Wednesday that he and Sorvino, 57, "got hitched last night in Vegas."
"Those of you who've been riding shotgun with me this last year and a half or so can understand that I never dreamed that happiness would be possible again. I’m here to tell you that you are stronger than you think!" the actor and country singer wrote in a Facebook post.
He added, "And those folks who have 'gone on ahead' are absolutely not only watching from above… but giving us the necessary small nudge… and the occasional kick in the butt to do the right things!"
Schneider concluded, "I honestly never thought I would ever laugh again… and now I laugh all the time! I sure do love that crazy dame at the end of the bar! Thanks DeeDee!"

A representative for Schneider told USA TODAY Wednesday that the couple will host an official wedding celebration Aug. 1.
John Schneider honors the late Paul Sorvino, Alicia Allain
The "Smallville" actor ended the post by paying tribute to his and Sorvino's previous spouses, who both died in recent years.
"Thanks, Paul!! Thanks, Alicia!!!" Schneider wrote.
His third wife, Alicia Allain Schneider, died in February 2023 at 53 following a battle with breast cancer. In 2022, Paul Sorvino of "Goodfellas" and "Law & Order" fame died at 83 after experiencing health issues in his final years. He and Dee Dee Sorvino (née Benkie) were married in 2014.
"Our hearts are broken; there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage," Dee Dee Sorvino said in a statement at the time.
'The Dukes of Hazzard' reunion:Daisy Duke star Catherine Bach hints at potential reboot
On Feb. 22, 2023, Schneider shared the news of Allain's death on social media, writing, "My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus."
"Hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did," he added.
In November, "The Dukes of Hazzard" alumni teased a possible reboot in an interview with Fox News Digital.
"I don't know how to explain it, but we have been closer than Bo, Luke and Daisy since the moment we met," Schneider said. "Through the best, worst and most challenging times of my life, Tom (Wopat) and Catherine (Bach) have always been there. Forty-something years later, we could not be better friends."
"As far as a 'Dukes' reunion, anything is possible," Bach said.
